We want to help you get the best results for your print job. Please be sure to read and refer to this artwork spec when preparing your artwork. Failure to comply with our guidelines may delay your job and increase your cost.

– Reprint the file if it fails to print as expected as a result of you not following the guidelines provided

4. CREATING CUSTOM SIZE ARTWORK

Scenario: You wanted to place an order for custom business card printing of 40mm x 40mm.

After you have drawn the guidelines, you have to add a new layer below. Now, you can now place the “Artwork” in the correct layer.

The solid triangle on the front and reverse sides are meant to give you a reference point on how your front and reverse artworks will be rotated during production. (And yes, physically the front and reverse sides share the same corner) It is therefore essential that you prepare and place your artwork accordingly before uploading it to us.

When you create outlines for all your text, we will not have problems on missing fonts or incorrect fonts display.

8. EMBEDDING LINKS

YOU MUST EMBED YOUR IMAGE INTO THE ARTWORK

Very often, you will place a picture or object in your artwork. These picture or object may not be embedded in the artwork when saving your file. This will cause us to have a missing links. If we failed to detect this “missing links” problem, we will not be liable for it. Please follow this tutorial to learn how to ensure all your links are properly embedded.

10. DOWNLOAD CENTER

You MUST download and use the correct Product Size Templates to prepare your artwork. These templates do not contain any designs. They are specific application files which include predefined guide-lines indicating bleed, safety, and trim lines. Preparing artwork in your own template may not meet our sizing specifications and may be rejected. These templates can help eliminate artwork setting error.
